About:
Marina Lickel works at the intersection of climate, territory, and collective practice, across program design, sustainability strategy, and architectural research. Her work engages architecture as an open-ended process, developed through participatory frameworks and long-term collaboration with communities. Over more than six years with Estúdio Flume, she worked across diverse regions in Brazil, particularly in the Amazon. She holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism and a postgraduate qualification in Architecture, Education and Society, both from Escola da Cidade, São Paulo. Now based in Amsterdam, she works across program design, sustainability strategy, and grant development, while pursuing an MSc in Sustainability Management at Rotterdam School of Management.
